"Alla"; medium: pencil and photoshop This is a portrait of my friend, which I first made in pencil, and then enhanced the effect in photoshop (just as an experiment).
Old stuff...
With mixed emotions, I dug out old drawings from the most neglected dusty corners of my parents' home.
Here are some of my favourite old works.

"Mardihansu - family home"; medium: pencil
These two drawings were made in summer 1992 in a historic and significant place to me - our family home on Hiiumaa island in Estonia. There was also a third drawing in this series, but I gave it away and left no copy for myself.
"Fantasy"; medium: pencil
I started this drawing in 1995 (if I remember correctly), and was working on it for many months until I just got bored and gave it up. It is really huge and very detailed - that is the main reason why I never finished it. But I like it anyway. There was no other meaning in this drawing but my own entertainment. Many people have asked me who was the model :)
New chapter

Medium: pencil (mostly)
This one is called “New chapter”. Actually, I don’t like drawing in this detailed and neat style – it leaves no space for spontaneous inspiration. But this piece was made as a good-bye gift to my colleagues, so I decided to be a little conventional with their portraits.
Fascination

Medium: pencil on aquarelle paper
This is called 'Fascination'. I got the idea years ago, but never had time to put it on paper.
Finally, after almost 10 years, I'm back drawing... Oh, it feels good :)
social angst

medium: oil pastel
comment: I used to be a little obssessed with the idea of globalization as a painful choking mechanism, as seen in the mechanical and oppressive theme here. When I can't describe something well by words, art became the alternative to convey my thoughts.
medium: oil pastel
Theme: Surrealism that incorporates natural elements - sky, trees, water, fire, rocks... and wine. Fermentation is a great gift by nature, you know. Somehow, the universal theme creeps up into my drawings. I love oil pastel for its soft, smooth touch. Experimentation with both bold and greyish colors is present as well. This was created simply for fun.
the longest line

Medium: ink
Comments: i wanted to see how many variations of a guy i could draw and to mimic the effect of a long line and it blurring in the distance. it ended up looking like a long chain gang.
DEVOTION
medium: HB pencil, blue coloring pencil
comment: Naaz was my muse for this. She showed up as her favorite devotion - music - at the DEVOTION party. Circa 2004
Get up!
medium: colored pencil
comments: Just an image that came to my head one day. I like the nonchalant expression.
